Recent changes to the Facebook Profiles have left some users exposed to identity theft. When on Facebook look at your URL address (the very top box on your screen.). If you see "http:" instead of "https:" you DO NOT have a secure session and your account is vulnerable to hackers.

Use the following steps to secure your account.

1. Go to Account -> Account Settings
2. Next to Account Security click “Change”
3. Put a check in the box for "Secure Browsing (https)"
